The Humane Society of Wichita County's fundraiser, Paws In The Falls On Broadway, is this Saturday evening, and it's going to be "PAWSatively PAWesome". (Sorry.)

This is the 6th annual event for the Humane Society and helps raise funds to promote sensible public policies concerning animals, educate the public about pet responsibility and support the programs that save the lives of animals in our area. It should be a lot of fun, too.

This year's event will be held inside MSU's Outdoor Education Center, just off Midwestern Parkway. The Broadway part of the event is covered by Rachel Kapelski and a company of 38 musicians and singers performing a Broadway revue of songs about animals.Tickets are $35, and you can make your reservation by contacting the Humane Society of Wichita County at 940-855-4941 or by calling 940-696-0520.

Karen Hamlin and Donna Sullivan came by the Lonestar studios the other day to chat with us about this event.

Did I mention that the whole thing starts with a "Yappy Hour"? That alone should be worth the price of admission.
