Wichita Falls Warmest Overnight Low – EVER!

Yay! We set another record!

Hey ... When we're this hot for this long we need to find ways to enjoy it, dontcha think?

I got up shortly after 7:00 this morning and it was already 89 degrees. EIGHTY-NINE degrees! At 7:00am!

Sigh.

At least we can be happy knowing that we set a record for the warmest overnight low in the history of Wichita Falls. The old record was 87 and was set back in August of 1952. That must have been a brutal summer, not nearly so much A/C available!

Holy heatwaves, Batman! Make sure your pets have a cool place to hang out and have plenty of fresh water, and while you're at it, check on your elderly family, friends and neighbors.
