Erin Marvin from Downtown Wichita Falls Development stopped by today to talk to Drew about the Wichita Falls St. Patrick's Day Downtown Street Festival. The event is coming up on March the 14th featuring live music from The Old 97's, Luke Wade, Ayron Jones and the Way, Mike O’Neill and Friends and AA Bottom.

Tickets are on sale right now at United Market Street, Downtown Wichita Falls Development Office, Iron Horse Pub, SAFB ITT Office, or the Downtown Proud website. They are $12 in advance and will go up to $15 at the gate. There are discounts for military and students and children 12 and under are free.

This year there's going to be a lot more events for the whole family besides just the bounce house and music. As Erin told us, there will be games, food, traditional Irish dancers, and lots more.

Last year, the rain caused some troubles for the festival. This year, Erin says, they have several contingency plans. This includes multiple stage and sound set ups and an on-call tent that will cover the bands and hold 2500-3000 people.

Listen to the interview for more information and be ready for the fun on March 14th in Downtown Wichita Falls.
