Wichita Falls School Bond, Board Elections Results Are In
Results are coming in for today's school bond and board
Voters took to the polls today and said no to the Wichita Falls ISD bond issue. The much-publicized $125 million bond was defeated with 73% of votes against, 24% for the bond. School board members will most likely go back to the drawing board and draft a revised bond in coming months.
In the school board elections, At-Large incumbent Allyson Flack lost her position with just 20% of the vote. Two At-Large positions were up for grabs. Elizabeth Yeager and Bill Franklin won those seats, with 34% and 28% of the vote respectively.
