This has been a banner year for Blake Shelton.

He got married to Miranda Lambert, he’s a judge on NBC’s hit competition series ‘The Voice,’ he has a number one country single and one of the year’s best-selling albums — and now he’s a tour guide for the Grand Ole Opry.

Thanks to a series of recently-filmed videos, Opry visitors can look to Shelton for background information and personal anecdotes during their tour. For example, when the tour moves into the Member Gallery, visitors will hear Shelton relate his memories of being asked to become an Opry member and during the Studio A portion of the program, he will lead the audience through the history of the shows and films taped in the studio.

Shelton’s new album, ‘Red River Blue,’ is expected to top the Billboard charts this week. The album’s first single, ‘Honey Bee,’ was Shelton’s fastest chart-topping country hit; its follow-up, ‘God Gave Me You,’ is headed for the top 40 at country radio. Meanwhile, Shelton’s upcoming string of tour dates will take him across the U.S. and into Canada, and he’s booked for a second season of ‘The Voice.’
