Women: Where Do You Carry Cash/Cards on Your Person?

Is there a new trend shaping as women seek more ways to eliminate “carry-on luggage” while running everyday errands?

Traditionally the purse has been the primary accessory, and for many women this is still as much a part of their identity as the matching heels/belt ensemble they wear while carrying it. But some women find sitting a purse down momentarily can easily turn into a nightmare of cancelling a handful of cards as fast as possible, all while calling  every place on the  ”where was I today” list after misplacing the bag. Cell phones tucked into the back pocket for easy access have a way of sliding whatever cash or cards already in that pocket out and onto the floor as you reach for  incoming calls. In searching for the best way to go about placing necessary items, have women started shifting placement of these items to more “secure” areas?
