Two Kids Die in House Fire, Aunt More Concerned About Her Food Stamps [VIDEO]

The woman in this video is so nauseatingly appalling it makes it really hard to have much faith in humanity.

In Memphis, TN, two children, ages 2 and 3, were left alone at home by the kids' mother and aunt when a fire broke out. Several Neighbors tried to rescue the kids, but the smoke and flames had already overtaken the house.

By the time the mother and aunt made it home it was too late.

When asked if she had any regrets about leaving the kids at home alone, the aunt said, "No. I really don't because if they hadn't been there by themselves...I don't know how the house caught on fire..."

And if not having any regrets about being responsible for the deaths of two babies wasn't bad enough, she continues, "I really need to get in there and see if my purse burnt up, "chuckles the aunt. "Cause that had my food stamps card and everything in there."

By the way, this is not a new event. It took place back in 2009, but the video has been making the rounds online again recently. Apparently the mother of the children was sentenced to only 14 years of probation and mental health treatment.
