It was on this date in 2011 that Trace Adkins and several of his on-screen friends attended the premiere of The Lincoln Lawyer in Los Angeles, Little Big Town picked up their first gold record in 2006 and Eddie Rabbitt's song about driving on a rainy night was certified gold in 1981.

  • Ernest Tubb and Loretta Lynn recorded their first duet for Decca, "Love Was Right Here All The Time," as well as the Top 20 single, "Mr. & Mrs. Used To Be," in 1964.
  • Patsy Cline was buried in her hometown of Winchester, Virginia in 1963.
