While YouTube may have officially celebrated its 10-year anniversary back in February, today is the anniversary of the very first video ever uploaded to the site. And it is really boring.

So the first YouTube video wasn't anything too exciting, but that hasn't stopped it from racking up millions of views anyway

The 18-second clip features one of the co-founders at the San Diego Zoo standing in front of an elephant cage. As well as being the first ever YouTube video, it may also be the most boring. You can watch the video below.

And now, after ten years of viral videos, YouTube now has over a billion users and post 300 hours of video every minute. That's insane. Who's going to watch all that footage anyway.
