It's been two years since El Paso natives The Dirty River Boys released their first album, "Science of Flight." But now the wait is over.

The Dirty River Boys announced on their Facebook page today the release of their second full-length album, a self-titled endeavor that will come out Oct. 14.

Here's what the band said on their Facebook page:

Nearly a year ago we stepped inside The Bubble recording studio in Austin, TX & Sonic Ranch in Tornillio, TX to embark upon the next and most exciting chapter in our musical careers. After almost a year of working out all the little things, we can finally announce that we will be releasing our second full length, self titled album on OCT 14th. We have never been more proud and excited to share the music we have worked on.

And on the same day they announced the album's release date, The Dirty River Boys also unleashed the first single off the record, "Thought I'd Let You Know," which you can listen to right here at CountryWeekly.com.

"When we play this one live, people seem to try to sing the chorus by the time the song is over," band member Marco Gutierrez told Country Weekly. "It seems like it's getting stuck in people's heads. It's a fun one to play live because, in one song, it touches on what we are all about. Quiet lulls focusing on the writing, and powerful, fun, upbeat, energetic choruses."
