Taylor Swift, The Judds, Lynn Anderson – Today In Country Music History

Today seems to be all about the ladies. Taylor Swift’s Fearless was certified gold, platinum, double-, triple- and quadruple-platinum (Is that even possible?) on this date in 2009, The Judds released their second Greatest Hits CD in 1991 and Lynn Anderson recorded Rose Garden back in 1970.

  • Justin Tubb joined the Grand Ole Opry in 1955.
