Taylor Swift didn’t even have time to set down her first award at the 2012 Grammy Awards before her name was called again. The singer emerged from just offstage to accept the award for Best Country Song during a webcast prior to the official television broadcast.

‘Mean’ also won the award for Best Country Solo Performance. “This is, I … Wow!” Swift said, astonished by her early success. Of the three country Grammys handed out early, two went to Swift and one went to the Civil Wars in the Best Country Duo/Group Performance. This mean’s the Best Country Album award will be one of the few presented during the CBS award show. Swift’s album ‘Speak Now’ is also nominated in that category.

‘Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not’ by Thompson Square, ‘God Gave Me You’ by Blake Shelton, ‘Just Fishin” by Trace Adkins, ‘Threaten Me With Heaven’ by Vince Gill and ‘You and Tequila’ by Kenny Chesney featuring Grace Potter were also nominated in the Best Country Song category. With these wins, Swift now has six Grammy Awards, but that number could jump by the end of the evening.
