Zac Brown Band Guitarist Coy Bowles Writes Anti-Bullying Kids Book

While the members of Zac Brown Band have tasted commercial success in the past few years, they’ve also each experienced something else entirely new: parenthood. Perhaps this is partially what drew the band’s guitarist Coy Bowles to pen his first children’s book, “Amy Giggles: Laugh Out Loud.” Speaking on HLN yesterday morning (March 16), Bowles elaborated on the origins of the anti-bullying book, as well as his hopes for its future.

Zac Brown Recalls His ‘Soggy’ Beginnings

Zac Brown was so in need of tip money back in his bar and club playing days that he gladly reached into his beer-soaked tip bucket and felt lucky to fish out stray bills. “ playing in a bar, and then wringing the beer outta my tip money from the tip bucket,” he tells CMT. “At the end of the night, people would be spilling beer and stuff into that bucket but I didn’t care. I’d reach down and grab the one dollar bills from the bottom and shove ‘em in the cargo pants I used to wear.”

A Duo Of Alan Jackson Duets – Today In Country Music History [VIDEO]

It was on this date in 2010 that Zac Brown and Alan Jackson released thier duet, As She's Walking Away, and it was on this date in 2003 that Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffet's It's Five O'Clock Somewhere started its five week run at the top of the charts.

I'd say that's a pretty a pretty good run of luck for Alan!
