June 22, 2011 Stoney LaRue is opening what is easily the biggest concert of the year in Texoma - The 2011 Army Concert Tour with Merle Haggard and Miranda Lambert on Saturday, July 2nd at Ft. Sill's Polo Field. Most of us a very familiar with Merle and Miranda, but unless you've followed the Red Dirt music scene you may not be as familiar with Stoney. May 15, 2011 Country singers Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were married Saturday evening at the Don Strange Ranch in Texas, Taste of Country is reporting.
Among the 550 guests were Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Dierks Bentley and Shelton's 'Voice' cohort, Cee Lo Green.
Lambert wore her mother's wedding dress, and later told US Weekly that she is "looking forward to a lifetime of laughter."

Taylor Swift can add yet another trophy to her already-full mantle. The 21-year-old singer won Entertainer of the Year at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards, held Sunday evening in Las Vegas.
The big winner of the night, though, was Miranda Lambert, whose Grammy-winning song "The House That Built Me" took home awards for Single Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Video of the Year. Lambert also won Top Female Vocalist of the Year for the second year in a row.
