See that picture. That is the view of a nuclear bomb the size of the one dropped on Hiroshima detonating on our studio.  For anyone who has ever been awake at night wondering, "what would happen if a nuclear bomb fell where I live?" we now can find out the answer.

Thankfully, the people at nuclearsecrecy.com have thought about that, and created a Google maps app that lets you see the effects. You just enter your location, pick the type of bomb and then you see the mushroom cloud, and estimated fallout.

For the bomb dropped on our building, it shows an estimate of 7,280 causalities and 20,420 injuries.  That isn't the biggest or smallest bomb possible. With new technologies and advances things could be much worse.

It is kinda morbid, but also really interesting.  If you want to play around with it yourself all you have to do is click the button below!
