Before showing a pre-taped Rascal Flatts performance, ABC aired a sit-down between the trio and another threesome, the Band Perry, during the 2012 CMA Music Festival back in June. The Flatts chatted about what they would do for a living if they weren't musicians, and it turns out that Joe Don Rooney wants to be a clay pigeon shooter and Jay DeMarcus would be a game show host. Maybe someday...

After the short interview, ABC aired the band's June performance for the annual 'Country's Night to Rock' special. Lead by Gary LeVox's unique country music vocals, the band put on an emotionally-charged rendition of 'Come Wake Me Up.'

After a decade in the business and several hit songs, this country music trio still knows how to captivate a huge crowd. Members of the audience snapped photos of the band while swaying along to the music and singing every word of the song.

There's a reason why Rascal Flatts have been on top of the country music charts for so long -- something they made very clear during ABC's airing of the CMA Fest special.
