Rascal Flatts took the stage at the 2011 CMA Awards to perform their current hit, ‘Easy,’ which was complete with the song’s duet partner Natasha Bedingfield, who made her CMA Awards debut this year.

The song’s beautiful musical arrangement included a full orchestra that backed the band, consisting of violins and the cellos, among other instruments which were in-sync with the orange and red light show that bounced off the backdrop of the stage set. The sound was rounded out with the addition of the amazing musicianship of the band’s Jay DeMarcus on bass and Joe Don Rooney on guitar.

Bedingfield’s vocals were as as angelic as her beautiful black and rose-colored gown that made the singer look as if she had just stepped off the movie screen. Lead vocalist Gary LeVox’s smooth tone set the bar for the night’s male performers, which was on par with some of the best in the business. The blend of the two star’s voices made for a moving performance that brought the room to its feet following the tune’s dynamic closure.
