There seems to be a new trend on the rise. After years of plucking eyebrow hairs to make the brows more slender, more and more women (and probably a few men) are opting to have hairs from their scalp moved to the eyebrow area to make them thicker and fuller.

The procedure runs just over $6,000 for a pair of bushy brows and was originally aimed at women with genetic or medical conditions causing the loss of eyebrow hairs. Lately though it seems to be catching on with people who have been ... shall we say ... slightly overzealous ... with their plucking over the years.

The entire process is done under local anesthetic and up to 200 hairs are "embroidered" into each eyebrow.
