Halloween is approaching fast and you know what that means?  Pumpkins!  In fact, to see all the pumpkins and gourds around town, you’d never know Wichita Falls was in the throes of a drought. Of course, most of the pumpkins probably are not coming from the immediate area, but they make for some nice color in an otherwise uniformly brown landscape.

So, where are the pumpkin patches and available pumpkins for purchase in Wichita Falls?

As you can see, the Smith's pumpkin patch in Wichita Falls is taking shape nicely.  Yes, they are for sale, but each year they put together a top-notch assortment that’s just cool to see. Check  them out at 4940 Seymour Hwy.

UUMC should be getting their annual patch together soon on Taft Boulevard. It’s one that seems to get bigger each year. It’s a joint effort from the kids to the adults; everyone gets involved. You have to go check it out! Church officials say it should be built and ready for your viewing pleasure by this weekend (9/28)! Don't miss it, right across from MSU.
