Pauper and Clark Kent – Humane Society Pets of the Week!

Every once in a while my cat likes to get under the covers while I’m sleeping. It’s never at a convenient time, like when I’m awake, but rather the middle of the night. She’ll scratch around the covers, poke her nose here and there, and then finally make her move. Unfortunately it also usually involves her scratching me at some point and waking me from my sleep. Even though it’s a little annoying, I’m okay with it because she just wants to hang out with me and find a comfortable place to sleep at the same time. Some pets don’t have a person to hang out with, and that’s where you come in.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for a lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.

Pauper

Pauper is a small, young, male, short-haired cat. He’s not quite a year old yet, so he has plenty of energy and loves to play as much as he loves a nap in the sunlight. He also likes cuddling in your lap, and warms up to people rather quickly. He’s been neutered, is up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Pauper is looking for his forever home and would love to be a part of your family. Stop by to meet him!

Clark Kent

Clark Kent is a medium sized, adult, male Pit Bull Terrier mix. With a name like his, you know he’s going to save the day! He loves people, taking walks, and a great scratch on the belly. He makes friends easily and would make a great addition to your household! He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped.
