Jeremy Robinson is the host of Taste of Country Nights, a syndicated radio show that airs on 41 stations across the United States on weeknights. Radio has been his passion since the age of nine, when he "hosted" a show out of his bedroom. After almost 16 years on the air, country music isn't just his job -- it's also his passion.

I am a 33-year-old man who just had his very first surgery. Granted, it was a complete reconstruction of my septum and sinus, but nevertheless, it was my first surgery and I was terrified! I didn't know what to expect. So what did this grown, single man do? He asked his mom to be close by.

I think my sweet mom was more nervous for me than I was, but she packed her bags and came to take care of me. I know one thing ... nothing makes me feel better than the love and comfort my sweet mom gives with no effort. Her presence and selfless nature makes everything all better. I am glad to be back at work and on the air, but most of all I'm thankful for the time my mom continues to give me when I need her.

Doesn't sound like a big, brave, grown man does it? Does that make me weird?
