Netflix Will Let You Celebrate New Year’s Whenever You Want

If you have kids, staying up till midnight on New Year's Eve may not be exactly what you are hoping for. That's why Netflix has stepped in to make things easier. The streaming service will offer an on-demand countdown that you can play whenever you want. This means that if the kids are dead set on counting down till midnight, you can make that happen at 8:46pm, or 11:15, or really anytime what-so-ever.

The countdown features characters from the new Netflix children's show "All Hail King Julien." The main character, King Julien (an animated lemur) will host the 3 minute show. According to CNN Money, the countdown was available starting at noon on December 29th.
