Montague County Woman Dies From Injuries in Tuesday Night Crash

A Bowie woman has died following a crash with an 18 wheeler in Montague County.

At Around 10 pm Tuesday, Danny Hunt of Iowa Park was pulling out of the Star Travel Center in his semi heading east on FM 174, just east of US 287. A Jeep driven by 26-year-old Chelsea Cleveland of Bowie was traveling west on FM 174. Cleveland struck the semi’s trailer.

Cleveland was transported to United Regional. She passed away at 3:00 pm Wednesday.  Hunt was uninjured. The crash remains under investigation.
