Lawton Authorities Hunt for Jail Escapee

A man who escaped from a Lawton jail work detail is still on the run.

KAUZ reports that Steven Lee Schlosser was in a truck with a Lawton Jail inmate road crew when he jumped from the truck at 52nd Street and Northwest Rogers Lane on Monday afternoon.

Schlosser was last seen running west from the intersection. His orange jail jumpsuit was found several blocks away.

Schollser is a white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing around 150 pounds.
