If there's something that gets Kelly Clarkson really excited, it's Christmas. Specifically, she's excited about her first Christmas album, 'Wrapped in Red.' The songstress is raving about the new record -- and it makes us even more excited to hear it.

So, just how much does Clarkson love her holiday album? “I gotta be honest with you, my Christmas album is like my favorite thing that I’ve ever done on the planet. It is so amazing," she says, according to CMIL.

But it's not just her album that gets her excited. The 'Tie It Up' singer gushes, “I’m a nerd about Christmas music. Bing Crosby‘s Christmas CD, like ‘White Christmas’ album, is like, oh, my gosh, I love … and ‘White Christmas’ with Rosemary Clooney and Bing and all the other two, like, and Mariah‘s when I was a kid and loved Reba‘s."

"There’s so many Christmas CDs that I just am in love with, and so I was really excited about making it," Clarkson adds.

'Wrapped in Red' sounds like the perfect record to listen to throughout the holidays, and it features lots of Christmas classics, including 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,' 'Blue Christmas' and 'Run Run Rudolph.'

It also includes original songs, including 'Wrapped in Red' and 'Underneath the Tree.' Plus, there are some really exciting collaborations (like a duet with Ronnie Dunn). Country superstars Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood will also appear in the record, making it a merry Christmas for all country music fans.

The album will hit stores on Oct. 29. and is the perfect way to ring in the holiday a little early.
