Johnny Cooper Performs New Song “Try” Live in Studio [Audio]

Johnny Cooper and the band brought their own brand of Texas, soul, rock, and funk to Denim and Diamonds last night, but not before giving us an exclusive taste of some new music yesterday afternoon. Johnny stopped by the studio yesterday and filled me in on his current tour, new single dropping, and even got out the guitar to play us some new tunes.

While in the studio, Johnny also dished on his decision to re-invent his sound and stray from the Texas Country writing that put him on the map. We also learned Cooper has a couple of songs featured on a new film out.
