Jason Aldean may be rough-and-tumble on stage, but when it comes to spending holidays with his family, he definitely has a soft side. The singer shared a photo with his family on Easter this year, donning his Sunday best and — shockingly — no cowboy hat.

Aldean and his wife and daughters pose in shades of bright pastels with their fuzzy dog outside on a patio looking adorable. The star took a break from his We Were Here Tour to spend time with family for the holiday, as he still has five more dates on the run with Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses. After it wraps up in May, Aldean will be headed back to Music City — he was recently announced as one of the headliners at 2016 CMA Fest.

Adding to the suggestion that he might just be a more sensitive guy than he projects, the artist also just released his own candle scent with Unwined, a company which produces candles in recycled wine bottles. The scent is called 'Laid Back,' which the candle company says is inspired by Aldean’s “captivating spirit.”

Aldean is also known for his commitment to funding breast cancer research and supporting survivors of the disease, and this year he’s going above and beyond to give breast cancer survivors the VIP treatment at his concerts. Last year he gave more than $600,000 to Susan G. Komen South Florida during the last stop on his Burn It Down Tour in his home state. Over the years he’s raised more than $2.3 million for breast cancer research.
