  • Jason Aldean earned a gold single for “She’s Country” in 2009.
  • Carrie Underwood‘s debut album, Some Hearts, went triple-platinum in 2006.
  • Eddie Montgomery lost his footing when he stepped on a speaker cabinet during a Montgomery Gentry show in Asheville, North Carolina in 2005. After the concert, X-rays revealed that he had broken his left wrist.
  • Brooks & Dunn‘s “Ain’t Nothin’ ‘Bout You” began a six-week stay atop the country singles chart in 2001.
  • Rascal Flatts made its Grand Ole Opry debut in 2000.
  • Faith Hill and Tim McGraw released their first duet “It’s Your Love” in 1997.
  • Lorrie Morgan‘s Number One single “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” charted in 1995.
  • John Berry‘s wife, Robin, delivered son Sean Berry two minutes before midnight in 1994. Several hours later, nurses found John sitting on the floor outside the hospital room. Informed of his ongoing headaches, they ran a CAT scan and found a cyst on his brain.
  • Garth Brooks‘ NBC network special, This Is Garth Brooks, aired in 1991.
  • The Judds‘ first Number One single “Mama He’s Crazy” charted in 1984.
  • Charlie Rich‘s single “Behind Closed Doors” went to Number One in 1973.
