It was ... Professor Plum ... In the Lounge ... With the Revolver!

Or was it Colonel Mustard in the Billiard Room with the Candlestick?

If your goal is to spend a fun evening with your friends, watching Clue The Musical at Backdoor Theatre will certainly do the trick, just make sure you bring a pen or pencil to keep score!

It really was a dark and stormy night when some friends and I went to Backdoor Theatre in downtown Wichita Falls to see the delightful whodunnit, Clue The Musical.

At the beginning of the show you're introduced to Mr. Boddy (The victim of this unsavory crime) and a delightful cast of suspicious characters, all of them with reasons for wanting Mr. Boddy dead, and one intrepid Detective determined to get to the bottom of the matter. Throughout the course of the show you're treated to a tawdry tale of mayhem and ... Yes ... Murder!

For the rest of the evening, you'll follow the clues and discover who killed Mr. Boddy. The musical plays out along the lines of Clue the board game. In fact the entire set is designed around this theme. The show starts with audience members selecting one card for each category of Suspects, Rooms and Weapons. With 216 possible endings the story is different with every performance, so go ahead and see it more than once!

The show is filled with an endless stream of puns, innuendos, mixed metaphors and great musical numbers. Clue The Musical's outstanding ensemble cast includes: Jeremy Motley (Mr. Boddy), David Conrady (Mr. Green), Brett Humpert (Col. Mustard), Jeanette Perry (Mrs. Peacock), Justin Partridge (Prof. Plum), Jenna Frazier (Miss Scarlet), Carl Alfert (Mrs. White), Meg Nester (the Detective) and Shara Spicer (the Pianist).

Backdoor Theatre's production of Clue The Musical is directed by Jon Krueger and runs weekends through October 22nd.

Who do you think did it?

In what room?

With what weapon?

Need a Clue? See the show!
