I love waking up to a cat snuggled up next to me. My cat usually doesn’t end up next to me, however, she likes to sleep above my head on my pillow. It doesn’t leave much room, but I’m okay with that. Pets are very loyal to their owners and they truly become members of our families, but some pets don’t have a place to call home. That’s where you fit into the picture.

The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for an energetic puppy that loves kids to at cat who’s just as laid back and quiet as you are, chances are they’ll have your perfect match.

May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.

Hot Shot

Hot Shot is an adult male Schnauzer. He’s been neutered, is up-to-date on his shots, is house trained, dewormed, and microchipped. He’s really adorable and his medium size means he won’t take up the entire couch while you’re watching TV. Head over to check him out today.

Scoops

Scoops is a young, female, medium sized cat. She’s current on her shots, housetrained, spayed, dewormed and microchipped. She got her name because she’s always curious about what’s going on, and though she’s a little shy at first, she loves sitting in your lap. She’d love coming home with you!
