Miranda Lambert Loves ‘Honey Boo Boo’… Much to Blake Shelton’s Dismay

Like a bad car wreck you just can’t turn away from, Miranda Lambert is officially hooked on the hit show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ — but unfortunately, her husband Blake Shelton isn’t on the same page.

The TLC series show follows 6-year-old pageant contestant Alana and her mom, June, from the show ‘Toddlers & Tiaras’ as they set out to prove to the world that they are more than just a couple of pretty faces. Thanks to her popular catch phrase, “They’re never gonna beat me, honey boo-boo child,” Alana pretty much named the show all by herself.

One look at this sassy little girl and you’ll suddenly understand why Lambert is so smitten with ‘Honey Boo Boo.’ The show is filled with shots of the blonde pageant queen dancing around, daring other contestants to challenge her, and getting primped with curlers and makeup as she prepares for upcoming competitions.

Between pageants, viewers get an inside look at what it’s like to be a part of Alana and June’s family — and it’s a crazy ride full of mud slides, water fights and four-wheeling in the dirt.

Sounds like it would be right up the country couple’s alley, right? Well, apparently, only one half of the Lambert-Shelton household is eager to DVR this reality show.

“I can’t wait to get home and watch my DVR of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo! Shhh y’all don’t tell me! I’m almost there,” Lambert tweeted Wednesday night as she rushed home to catch it.

About an hour later, she followed up with a ‘review’ of sorts, dishing to her one million Twitter followers just how much she loves the show. “And TLC wins again with another show I am hooked on:) ‘a dolla makes me holla honey boo boo!’” she posted.

Never one to keep quiet on his opinion, Shelton couldn’t help but put in his two cents about ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,’ which we assume he was forced to watch.

“Just watched ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’… And now here comes runny doo doo…,” he wrote frankly, garnering hundreds of hilarious replies from his followers.

We can’t say we blame Shelton for not wanting to zone out in front of ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.’ But thanks to DVR, Lambert can record the show and watch it whenever she wants — probably when her funny man isn’t around to criticize.

One 6-year-old Blake is happy to get on board with? Harlie Bryant, a little girl with brain cancer who he will meet at his show on August 18.
