If you remember the '80s, you'll love the latest production at the Wichita Theatre, Footloose The Musical!

The story follows a young man named Ren McCormack who moves from Chicago to a small town in the west. A town where dancing is strictly forbidden. I think you can guess where it goes from here.

The 1984 movie starred Kevin Bacon as Ren and John Lithgow as Reverend Shaw Moore. In the Wichita Theatre production, Ren is played by Justin Partridge and Reverend Shaw is played by Billy Brasfield.

Both of these veteran performers were gracious enough to stop by the Lonestar 102.3 studios and chat with us about the show. They talk about the story line, the dancing, the music. They even manage to dish a little bit of dirt about the show's director, Abbie James. But it's pretty nice dirt ...

Footloose The Musical will run from Friday, July 6th through Saturday, July 28th at the Wichita Theatre in downtown Wichita Falls.

Here's the first part of our chat.
