If you are part of our community displaced by the current flood evacuations and are not sure what to do with your pets, the Humane Society of Wichita Falls wants you to know that they are here to help.

They have already taken in numerous pets since the evacuation announcement last night, and are ready and willing to board more animals during this time. They even have livestock pens for farm animals aside from their normal boarding areas for dogs, cats, and other household pets.

For more information you can call the shelter at 940-855-4941 or visit them on Facebook or at HumaneSocietyofWichitaCounty.org. If possible, they ask that you bring your pets vaccination records, but if not available they can vaccinate for a small cost.

The shelter is located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Rd. If you are driving on Iowa Park rd, it is just past Wellington Ln.
