Craig Morgan Loves Sundays, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band Comes Full Circle – Today In Country Music History

Craig Morgan’s favorite day of the week began a four week stint as the number one Country song in the United States on this date in 2005, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band came full Circle with a 30th Anniversary album in 2002 and John Anderson had the number one Country song in the nation back in 1983.   • Diamonds & Dirt became Rodney Crowell‘s first gold album in 1990.
  • John Anderson went to Number One on the Billboard country chart with “Swingin’” in 1983.
