While the real Santa is a jolly old elf, some of his impostors who begin to pop up all around the non-frozen parts of the planet come Christmas time are a tad rough around the edges.
In fact, some of these mall jockeys and liquored-up revelers are downright sketchy. We’ve compiled a list of ten of these questionable Santas featured on the excellent Sketchy Santas blog so that folks with common decency and small children will know who to avoid this holiday season. Grab some expired egg nog and check them out below.
Frustrations over Facebook’s lax privacy policies have risen quite high in recent times, which makes the fact that someone was able to hack the social site and make public some of Mark Zuckerberg’s private photos all the more satisfying.

Like any great awards show, the 2011 American Country Awards were packed full with practically as many performances as awards handed out. Host Trace Adkins kicked off the show with a medley of his hits before his co-host Kristin Chenoweth challenged him to a sing-off, which was the highlight of the evening, despite being mostly a joke.
We're going to run down the laundry list of what this woman did last Thursday night during her drunk driving arrest - and you'd never believe she produced such a happy smiling mug shot.

While you may assume that Thanksgiving is all about food, it's also a great time to show off your craft-y side. Creating fun centerpieces is a great way to put your own individual stamp on your Thanksgiving table. (Your
The purpose of the new series of print ads from Boy Scouts of America is to convey how scouting skills can transform youngsters from boys into full-bearded men.
However, there is something unsettling about seeing beards that would make Kimbo Slice or Zach Galifianakis jealous on the faces of boys still too young to need a razor.
Halloween is just a few days away and since this annual holiday falls on a Monday, parties are bound to pop up during the weekend to accommodate those who have to go to work without hangovers on (though that probably won’t stop people from having too many candy corn martinis).
The only problem is that you don’t have a costume. You could throw on a dirty old bedsheet, cut a few holes in it and tell people you’re a beige ghost. Or you could actually be clever and in-tune with what’s happening and hip (as the kids say) by going as viral video star the honey badger.
Sure putting together a costume of such a fearsome sounding creature sounds like you’ll be sitting at a sewing machine all night trying to un-sew the sleeve of your shirt out of your costume, but it’s actually one of the simpler clever costumes you can put together for 2011. After the jump, we’ll show you how.
Still don’t have a costume for Halloween? You might want to hurry since the big day is less than a week away.
To help out a little, TV.com has a bunch of ideas for costumes inspired by TV characters. Some are kinda lame (going as Barney from ‘How I Met Your Mother’ means you’re basically just a dude in a nice suit), but there are some you could have fun with. In addition to ‘The Walking Dead’ (above), here are the five best we found from the list.
The folks at ‘Today’ offered up a gallery of spectacularly bad Halloween photos culled from the Awkward Family Photos website.
There’s nothing wrong with homemade Halloween costumes per se, but these are simply unforgivable (and unintentionally scary).
To get you in the “spirit” of Halloween, ‘Good Morning America‘ offered a slideshow of thrill-seekers making a scream-filled trip through the Nightmares Fear Factory in Niagara Falls.
