Before they become a symbolic of a terrible tragedy which befell America almost ten years ago, the World Trade Center Towers were a symbol of New York City and its largesse. To commemorate the tenth anniversary of September 11, editor Dan Meth has compiled a supercut of most of the Twin Towers’ best big screen cameos.
In its second week of release, strong word-of-mouth and positive reviews propelled ‘The Help’ past ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ to take the number one spot at the box office this weekend, while ‘Apes’ moved to the number two slot.
‘The Help’ earned $20.5 million, while ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ pulled in $16.3 million.
Two new films — ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ and ‘The Change-Up’ — premiered in the top five in this weekend’s best box-office earners, coming in at number one and number four, respectively.
Last weekend’s top films, ‘The Smurfs’ and ‘Cowboys & Aliens,’ moved to the second and third-place slots.

Three new movies will be added to theaters this Friday, offering everything from cowboys and aliens to the Smurfs in 3-D.
The first is the Jon Favreau-directed ‘Cowboys & Aliens,’ in which Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford team to fight off – you guessed it – an alien-invasion in 1873 Arizona.
