Who Were the Big Winners at the Golden Globes?
The 69th annual Golden Globes were awarded Sunday night, with a kinder, gentler Ricky Gervais at the helm.

Someone better tell Taylor Swift to add a wing onto her house in order to store all of her awards, since she just added another one to her copious collection of trophies and statuettes. The singer won the Favorite Country Artist Award at the 2012 People’s Choice Awards, which were televised this evening (Jan. 11).
If you haven't noticed already, my infatuation for Taylor Swift, in all aspects, is just a little obsessive. I tend to stay on top of/stalk her headlines. I mean can you blame me? She is a very attractive young lady with a very bright future. Along with her musical talent, Taylor is now bringing home awards for good manners!

The best dressed artists at any given music awards show are often as news-making as the winners themselves, and tonight’s 2011 American Country Award’ best dressed were no exception. We want to bring special attention to adorable ‘American Idol’ duo Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina, who both made our list of the ACAs’ most stylish, which is pretty impressive given their short awards show resume.
The 2011 American Country Awards were a huge success, with many of country music’s hottest stars traveling 2,000 miles from Nashville to Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena just to show their faces on the FOX network. Unfortunately, some of the outfits that the artists packed to wear to the event were not as big of a hit, which quickly landed them on our worst dressed list, as seen in this gallery of pictures.
Over the past 10 years, Toby Keith has been the most-played artist on country radio. His feat as one of country music’s most influential artists was enough to garner the win for Artist of the Decade at the 2011 American Country Awards on Monday night (Dec. 5).
Jason Aldean hid a tear or two under his black cowboy hat as he accepted the 2011 American Country Awards’ honor for Artist of the Year. Miranda Lambert presented the award to Aldean, which was his second of the night until the announcer let fans in Las Vegas and viewers at home know the ‘Tattoos on This Town’ singer had also won four other awards, for a total of six.
Brad Paisley took home a guitar trophy for Male Artist of the Year during Monday night’s 2011 American Country Awards show, as it broadcast live from Las Vegas. Although Paisley was not able to make it to the awards to accept his guitar, he sent in a thank you video that was aired after he was announced as the winner of the category with stiff competition.

Like any great awards show, the 2011 American Country Awards were packed full with practically as many performances as awards handed out. Host Trace Adkins kicked off the show with a medley of his hits before his co-host Kristin Chenoweth challenged him to a sing-off, which was the highlight of the evening, despite being mostly a joke.
Trace Adkins‘ 2011 American County Awards co-host Kristin Chenoweth started our her performance of her song ‘I Didn’t’ by asking how many women in the audience had an ex-boyfriend. “Well, I’ve got one too,” she said. “This song is for him.”
Carrie Underwood has to be enjoying the 2011 American Country Awards. She’s picked up three Telecasters thus far and hasn’t had to change her outfit once. The blonde country singer seemed genuinely humbled when a presenter announced her name for the second time, and she didn’t leave the stage without giving her husband’s hockey teammates something to tease him about.
During the 2011 American Country Awards on Monday night (Dec. 5), Blake Shelton performed his recent multi-week No. 1 smash single, ‘God Gave Me You.’
