Have you ever wondered what your cat does when you leave it outside all day?  Well, a researcher at the University of Georgia strapped three-ounce cameras to the collars of 60 cats, and it turns out cats get in all kinds of trouble.

A few of the most-common activities were stalking prey, and climbing on roofs.  But one woman found out her cat had been exploring the local sewer system, which is pretty gross if you let your cat sleep with you.

One of the cat owners even found out that her cat was cheating on her - with a second family. The nerve of some cats

The researcher behind it says she wants people to know how dangerous it is to let your cat outside, and hopes it'll convince people to keep their cats indoors.  She said 85% of the cats engaged in at least one, "risk behavior" each week.

Personally, I'm a dog person. Strapping cameras to my two Great Danes would probably turn out to be pretty boring. Every time I look outside they are either passed out in the shade, digging a hole, or just drooling on each other - but I wouldn't have it any other way.
