Carrie Underwood isn't done opening NBC's season of 'Sunday Night Football' quite yet. The singer will introduce a special version of her theme song before the Super Bowl. 'Waiting All Day for a Super Bowl Fight' will replace 'Waiting All Day for Sunday Night' when the Seattle Seahawks square off against the New England Patriots next Sunday (Feb. 1).

The performance will close her second season opening NBC's broadcast, and there's no reason to believe she won't be back for a third. The Super Bowl XLIX open will feature lyrics customized for the matchup, as well a special set design and elements not yet seen during an Underwood open. Once again the song will be sung to the melody of Joan Jett's 'I Hate Myself for Loving You.'

“I'm so honored to again be a part of the Super Bowl," Underwood says, "this time joining NBC Sports in helping kick everything off. I can’t wait to watch the game."

The Super Bowl broadcast from Glendale, Ariz. begins on NBC at 12PM ET on Feb. 1. The game begins at 6:30PM ET.
