Carrie Underwood has to be enjoying the 2011 American Country Awards. She’s picked up three Telecasters thus far and hasn’t had to change her outfit once. The blonde country singer seemed genuinely humbled when a presenter announced her name for the second time, and she didn’t leave the stage without giving her husband’s hockey teammates something to tease him about.

“Mike, I love you, I miss you,” Underwood said, beaming in her strapless peach dress. “His teammates are going to make fun of him for that one.” Even though the Nashville Predators are off on Monday night, Mike Fisher didn’t make the trip to Sin City to support his wife before a home game against the Phoenix Coyotes on Tuesday.

NASCAR driver Kyle Busch presented the award to Underwood. He made a joke that the only thing looking better than the women in this category was his “smokin’ hot wife” and announced the nominees. In addition to Underwood, Sara Evans, Taylor Swift, Alison Krauss and Miranda Lambert were nominated for this award. Underwood was simultaneously announced as the winner of the Music Video for a Female Artist for the ‘Mama’s Song’ video.
