A Wichita Falls man was jailed early Tuesday in connection with a February car theft. A woman reported her Mercedes had been stolen from an address on 3rd Street on February 18th. The victim stated the car was left unlocked with the keys inside the car.

The victim saw the car on a Wichita Falls street days later and followed. She was able to make contact with the couple driving the Mercedes who told the victim they had purchased the car for cash from another man.

That man was identified as Nathan Allen Sewell. The 31 year-old was arrested in Burkburnett on Tuesday. Sewell is charged with theft over $2500 and under $30,000. He’s currently held in the Wichita County Jail on $50,000 bond.
