A car hit a motorcycle in Logan, Utah, pinning the rider of the bike under the car. The man was still trapped under the car when both the car and his motorcycle caught fire.

A group of bystanders came to the man's rescue lifting and moving the car enough to allow a construction worker to pull the limp body from the wreckage.

A grad student named Chris Garff caught the amazing group rescue on video.

Garff told CBS News

"It felt like he was motionless for a very, very long. It felt like forever," Garff says. "I thought he was a goner."

But then, as one witness described it, "He's moving! No freakin' way!"

"Absolutely," says Garff, the Good Samaritans "are heroes."

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital where officials say he is in stable condition with several broken bones and minor burns
