As an artist, Brad Paisley wears many hats: a country star, an award show host, his actual cowboy hat. And now he has one more role to add to his resume; the creator of new jingles for Nationwide Insurance.

"As a songwriter, the whole premise of there being more to the Nationwide jingle beyond those seven catchy notes is exciting," Paisley says in a press release. "It intrigued me right away."

The campaign, "Songs for All Your Sides," teamed up with Paisley to deliver the iconic "Nationwide is on your side" jingle, but add very real day-to-day scenarios that the insurance company is there for. Commercials featuring the new and improved jingles will be broadcast all over television.

"So you're up at dawn / Can't look alive / You've been saving for a big man cave / Good luck with that Dave / You made the most of your retirement plan / So you better learn to drive that RV van / So many things you're doing in your life / Nationwide is on your side," Paisley sings as he strums his guitar.

Pop artist Rachel Platten is also in on the new gig, with her commercials very similar to Paisley's.

The idea behind the campaign is showcasing Nationwide's own story, and who better to ask for help with that then musical storyteller Paisley, who has penned some great story songs in his day, including his current single "Without a Fight."

The country star is currently on the road as part of his Life Amplified Tour with openers Tyler Farr and Maddie & Tae. The trek will run through the end of September.
