  • George Strait released his Strait Out Of The Box box set in 1995.
  • On his 63rd birthday, George Jones underwent triple bypass surgery at Nashville’s Baptist Hospital in 1994.
  • Alan Jackson collected his first gold album for Here In The Real World in 1990.
  • As a result of a 20/20 television report, the official case surrounding the 1977 death of Elvis Presley was reopened in 1980.
  • Thirteen-year-old Elvis Presley moved with his parents from Tupelo, Mississippi, to Memphis in 1948.

It’s hard to believe this is from 22 years ago.
