Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have been in the studio recently recording a duet for Miranda's new album. The song is called "Better In The Long Run", and was written by Ashley Monroe (Miranda's pal from the Pistol Annies), Charles Kelley (of Lady Antebellum) and Gordie Sampson (writer of Carrie Underwood's "Jesus Take The Wheel").You've been hearing the 1st single from that album, "Baggage Claim", on Lonestar 102.3. It features Josh Kelley on background vocals, and rocker Steve Winwood on the Hammond B-3 organ. You'll be able to get a limited edition deluxe version of the album - titled Four The Record - with a bonus track and DVD featuring Miranda's stories behind the songs.
