Blake Backstage: Uncle Lucius Performs Semi Acoustic in Wichita Falls [VIDEOS]

Uncle Lucius has been making a big impression on the world of Texas music. Tonight (June 6th) the band returns to Wichita Falls for a show at the Iron Horse Pub. Before heading to the show, they stopped by the Blake FM studios to talk to Drew and film this new episode of Blake Backstage.

The band talked about their new single, 'Everybody's Got Soul.' It's a new single, but not a new song. It's actually from their 2009 album 'Pick Your Head Up.' They had never released it to radio back then, but felt like it needed to be heard so they put it out now. The band is currently working on a new album that will hopefully be out in September.

When asked what genre of music Uncle Lucius would fall into, they described it as "American Music." After discussing their influences and what they are currently listening to, the diversity of it all leads to an interesting and unique sound. That sound is easiest to explain by hearing the band live. Lucky for us, they came prepared to play a song!
