If you're like me, you've become a bit of a news junkie lately. I keep flipping over to the news programs and sites to see the latest information on Japan's situation. I stumbled across this New York Times page that shows the dramatic effects of the tsunami. Just drag the slide bar in the center of each image to see what it was like before and after the tsunami came through. It really puts the physical impact of the wall of water into perspective.

If you're so motivated, there are other posts here on our site that will steer you to some legitimate ways for you to help the people in Japan. While we've done our best to make sure the links we provide are legitimate organizations, there are always opportunists in times like these, so your best bet is to stick with an organization you're already familiar with. Do a little bit of homework before you send anyone any money.
