If you are one of the millions of 'Back To The Future' nerds out there, the internet just gave us a new gift. No, it's not a remake of the movies. It's not another time travel adventure with Marty. It's '1.21 Gigawatts,' the prequel to the greatest trilogy of all time!

Have you ever wondered what happened to Doc Brown between November 12th, 1955 (when he sent Marty back to the future during the Hill Valley lightening storm) and October 21st 1985 (when Marty and Doc watch Einstein the dog become the world's first time traveler at the Lone/Twin Pines Mall)? How did he get the supplies and build the time machine. How did he go from concept to creation of the flux capacitor? How did he get involved with the Libyans to convince them that he would build them a bomb (that was really just a shiny bomb casing full of used pinball machine parts) to get his Plutonium?

All those questions and more could be answered with a prequel. Unfortunately, this is only a fan made trailer for what could have been, though. Tyler Hopkins created this using scenes from the BTTF movies as well as 'My Favorite Martian,' 'Camp Nowhere,' 'Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead,' 'Dennis the Menace,' 'Zero Dark Thirty,' 'Argo,' 'The Sum of All Fears,' 'Syriana,' 'Iron Man,' 'Dazed and Confused,' and 'Munich.'

While we may not have the prequel that we all now REALLY want to see, this is still a pretty great idea and a pretty incredible editing job. We can only hope that Robert Zemeckis sees it and thinks so, too!
