Dave Diamond

I've been living in Wichita Falls since the summer of 1981 and it's true, "Life begins in Texas and everything before don't count"!  As an avid fan of acoustic guitars, it's no surprise to find me perfectly at home with the Country music we play on Lonestar 102.3.  You can often hear me singing (?) along with the songs on the radio as I wander around the studios and offices. Even though I wasn't born here, Wichita Falls has truly become my home and I love to get out and experience what the city has to offer whenever I get a chance.  From events like Falls Fest and City Lights to the Hotter N Hell hundred there is always something exciting going on. Before I became a DJ at Lonestar 102.3 I was a secret agent for Great Britain and still fall back into my native British accent from time to time.  Being fluent in 17 languages and 9 forms of martial arts provided me with the tools needed to save the world from imminent disaster several times over and I even received knighthood by the Queen, herself.  Thank God that's behind me now and all I have to worry about these days is what song to play next. We love to hear from our listeners, so shoot me an e-mail sometime and tell me about yourself! Dave D.
