We hear it all the time, kids don't spend any time outside. Maybe this is why.

A Wichita Falls man was arrested Monday night after he pointed a gun at several neighborhood kids.

According to reports, three boys were playing a game of football in the street in the 3700 block of Telephone Drive in City View around 9:00 pm when the ball accidentally hit the roof of 68-year-old Jimmy Doyle Griffin. That's when Griffin came outside pointing a handgun at the kids.

It's unclear at this point whether or not Griffin yelled "Damn kids! Get off my lawn!" while he pointed the gun at them.

The police report says that Griffin and his neighbors have had an ongoing dispute. The victims are in fear of retaliation if Griffin is released.

Griffin has been charged with seven counts of deadly conduct and is currently being held on a bond of $14,000.
